Recovery and 12-step Support Groups
The Living Free Group
Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM until 12:15 PM in the Counseling Centre. These groups meet year round, are psycho-educational in nature program and designed to help those with compulsive and addictive behaviors and provide an understanding of the 12 Step process and principles. To register for this class call the Counseling Centre at 814-337-6180. The fee is $60, plus $25.00 application fee.
12 Step Groups
Year round groups meet at the Counseling Centre on Fridays at 10:30 AM and they follow the NA/AA format. There is no fee, open to the public.
Conquering Codependency
Mondays at 6:00 PM in the Counseling Centre, cost is $10.00 for workbook
Divorce Care
A 13 week DVD based discussion that meets Mondays at 7:30 PM
in the Counseling Centre
Overeaters Anonymous
Group meets the needs of men and women who are trapped in the cycle of compulsive eating. Based on a 12-step format, OA is a fellowship of individuals who want to stop eating compulsively and adopt a healthy lifestyle. Not a diet club, not a social club, OA offers physical, emotional and spiritual healing. OA meets in the Activity Room each Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
